We have seen a volatile week for the Nifty Index. Also, the Expiry day move in the index was ruthless when Index fall 200 points in just an hour. On Friday Nifty closed positive compared to the last day. After selling a record amount this fiscal year, FII changed from a seller to a buyer.
This week, the Nifty index is down -1.12 percent, and the Nifty Midcap 100 Index is up +0.35 percent.

This week, Models 1, and 3 are up +1.22 percent, and +2.35 percent respectively.
Model 1 has outperformed the Index by +2.34 percent and Model 3 has outperformed the Index by +2.00 percent.

The Long-Short strategy for the Nifty Index has returned a negative result of -5.46 percent this week.

In July 2022, Models 1, and 3 returned +6.20 percent, and +8.09 percent respectively, compared to the Nifty 50 Index's +8.73 percent return.
In July 2022, the Nifty Long-Short has gained some traction and is up +11.67 percent.
For the year 2021 (1st January 2021 - 31 December 2021), Model 1, 2, and Nifty Long-Short returned +86%, 33%, and 5.95%, respectively, compared to the Nifty 50 Index's return of +24%.
Year To Date - 2022
Models 1, and 3 returned -14.61 percent, and +0.84 percent respectively, compared to Nifty's +1.12 percent return for the year 2022.
The Nifty Long-Short year-to-date return (as of January 1, 2022) is now +27.59 percent, compared to the Index's +1.12 percent.
From July 12th, 2021, the Model 3 is up +22%, compared to 13% for the Nifty Midcap Index.
Summary since inception
Since its debut, Model 1 has increased by 135 percent. The Nifty index has increased by 63 percent over the same time span.
Since its debut, the Nifty long-short strategy has returned 125 percent on capital and 231 percent on margin money.
Models 1 has been operational since July 13, 2020, whereas the Index Long-Short strategy has been operational since August 14, 2020. Model 3 has been operational since July 12, 2021.
