This week the Nifty Index remained uptrend at the start of the week and closed up by +2.58%. The Nifty Index started the new year with a positive start and didn't witness higher volatility.
The Nifty Index hit 17383.30 on the lower side and hit 17944.70 on the upper side and ended at 17812.70.
Model 1, Model 2 & Model 3
Model 1,2 are up +6.60% and 6.29%. Model 3 remained flat for the week.
Model 1 & 2 have outperformed the Index by 4.02% & 3.71% respectively. Model 3 has underperformed the Index by -2.57%.
Nifty Long-Short
The Nifty Index Long-Short strategy has ended up in green at +9.30%.
Next Week Update
There is no change for Model 1, 2 & 3 for the next week.

Model 1, 2 & 3 have clocked +5.85%, -0.23% and +4.54% return respectively in Dec 2021 compared to +2.24% return in the Nifty 50 Index.
Nifty Long-Short has gained momentum and ended up +9.66% in Dec 2021.
Model 1, 2, and Nifty Long-Short clocked +86%, 33%, and 5.95% respectively for the Year 2021 (1st Jan 2021 -31 Dec 2021) compared to +24% return in the Nifty 50 Index.
Year To Date - 2022
Both Model 1 & 2 have outperformed the Nifty in YTD 2022. Model 1 & 2 each gave a return of 6.60% & 6.29% respectively vs. Nifty's return of 2.58% for the Year 2021.
Nifty Long-Short year-to-date (From 1st Jan 2022) return is now +9.30% as compared to the 2.58% of the Index.
Model 3 is up 21% compared to 13% of the Nifty Midcap Index from 12th July 2021.
Summary since inception
Model 1 and 2 are up 193% and 93% respectively from inception. For the same period, the Nifty Index is up 65%.
The Nifty long-Short strategy is up 92% since inception and 170% on the margin money since inception.
Model 1 and Model 2 both are live from 13th July 2020 while the Index Long-Short strategy has been live from 14th August 2020. Model 3 is live from 12th July 2021.
