This week the Nifty Index remained uptrend at the start of the week and closed up by +2.49%. The Nifty Index started the new year with a positive start and didn't witness higher volatility.
The Nifty Index hit 17879.15 on the lower side and hit 18272.25 on the upper side and ended at 18255.75.
Model 1, Model 2 & Model 3
Model 1 & 3 are up +2.31% and 1.95% respectively. Model 2 is down -1.71% for the week.
Model 1, 2 & 3 have underperformed the Index by -0.18%, -4.02% & -0.54% respectively.
Nifty Long-Short
The Nifty Index Long-Short strategy has ended up in green at +8.23%.

Model 1, 2 & 3 have clocked +5.85%, -0.23% and +4.54% return respectively in Dec 2021 compared to +2.24% return in the Nifty 50 Index.
Nifty Long-Short has gained momentum and ended up +9.66% in Dec 2021.
Model 1, 2, and Nifty Long-Short clocked +86%, 33%, and 5.95% respectively for the Year 2021 (1st Jan 2021 -31 Dec 2021) compared to +24% return in the Nifty 50 Index.
Year To Date - 2022
Model 1 has outperformed the Nifty in YTD 2022. Model 1, 2 & 3 each gave a return of 9.06%, 4.47% & 1.94% respectively vs. Nifty's return of 5.13% for the Year 2022.
Nifty Long-Short year-to-date (From 1st Jan 2022) return is now +18.30% as compared to the 5.13% of the Index.
Model 3 is up 23% compared to 16% of the Nifty Midcap Index from 12th July 2021.
Summary since inception
Model 1 and 2 are up 200% and 90% respectively from inception. For the same period, the Nifty Index is up 69%.
The Nifty long-Short strategy is up 108% since inception and 200% on the margin money since inception.
Model 1 and Model 2 both are live from 13th July 2020 while the Index Long-Short strategy has been live from 14th August 2020. Model 3 is live from 12th July 2021.
