This week is a blockbuster week with the Nifty Index is up by +2.48%. The Nifty index has crossed the 18000 mark this week. The Nifty index remained in an uptrend for the full week.

The Nifty Index hit 17839.10 on the lower side and hit 18350.70 on the upper side and ended at 18338.55

Model 1, Model 2 & Model 3

Model 1, 2 & 3 are up 5.82%, 0.81% and 5.77% respectively this week. Model 1 & 3 have outperformed the index by 3.34% and 3.29% respectively. Model 2 has underperformed the index by 1.67%.

Nifty Long-Short

The Nifty Index Long-Short strategy has ended up in green by 9.65%.

Next Week Update

There is no change for Models 1,2 and 3 for the next week.

The current position for the Nifty Long-Short Strategy is Long.

Long term Performance Summary

Model 1, 2 & 3 have clocked 6.51%, 0.71% and 14.22% return respectively in Sept 2021 compared to 2.84% return in the Nifty 50 Index.

Nifty Long-Short has gained momentum and captured most of the index up move and up 3.73% in Sept 2021.

Both Model 1 & 2 have outperformed the Nifty in YTD 2021. Model 1 & 2 each gave a return of 74.20% & 60.97% respectively vs. Nifty's return of 31.16% YTD.

Nifty Long-Short year-to-date (From 1st Jan 2021) return is now below the index with 12.26% (22% on Margin money) as compared to the 31.16% of the Index.

Model 1 and Model 2 both are live from 13th July 2020 while the Index Long-Short strategy has been live from 14th August 2020. Model 3 is live from 12th July 2021.

Model 3 is up 37% compared to 18% of the Nifty Midcap Index from 12th July 2021.

Model 1 and 2 are up 157.58% and 120.02% respectively from inception. For the same period, the Nifty Index is up 69.76%. Models 1,2 & 3 have hit the all-time high mark this week.

The Nifty long-Short strategy is up 86.53% and 160% on the margin money.
