The markets opened very strong this week and touched to a new All-time high.
This week, Nifty is up by 1.52%. :)
The Nifty Index hit 15374 on the lower side and hit 15733.35 on the upper side and ended at 15670.65.
Model 1 outperformed the index by +6.13% and Model 2 underperformed by -1.24%.
The Nifty Index Long-Short strategy has ended up in green by 3.37%. It's year-to-date (From 1st Jan 2021) return now beats the index with 13.25% as compared to the 12.08% of the Index.
Model 1 and 2 are up 120.75% and 85.24% respectively from the inception at the same time the Nifty Index is up 45.06%.
The Nifty long-Short strategy is up around 88.17% and 163% on the margin money.
Model 1 and Model 2 both are live from 13th July 2020 while the Index Long-Short strategy has been live from 14th August 2020.
Both Model 1 & 2 have underperformed the Nifty Index in May 2021. We were in cash for the first two weeks of May and then we took a position once again from 10th May.
Nifty Long-Short is now on the path of recovering after two months of a severe uncertainty as the market starts trending once again. It was up 8.59% in May and outperformed the Nifty Index.
