Clarification Regarding Model 1 And Model 2 Portfolios

  • Both the portfolios are long-only in nature and it is long term investment portfolio and not the trading portfolios
  • Every week we are not liquidating all the stocks and next Monday we are not buying the weekly list
  • We do rebalance which means we sell 1-2 stocks, which are going out from the portfolio, and buy 1-2 stocks that are adding to the portfolio on the first trading day of the week
  • You don't have to add the additional amount to do the rebalance. That means if you started with 100000 then your google sheet will take the rebalancing quantities for the stocks, which will be added to the portfolios
  • In the google sheet, we have mentioned the actual price at which I do the trade. Also, taxes and brokerage costs are deducted and the result is net of taxes and brokerage
