Weekly Portfolio Performance Chart

Equity Markets:

Indian equities were volatile this week, but the broader tone ended cautious-to-mixed rather than decisively bearish. The market got support from easing crude, select sector strength, and DII buying, while geopolitical तनाव, FII selling, and weakness in banks kept gains uneven.

Key Market Triggers

Brent crude and West Asia headlines: the market treated these as the biggest near-term risk to inflation, rupee stability, and sector sentiment.

FII flow trend: sustained foreign selling kept pressure on financials and capped index upside.

Bank Nifty support zones: weakness in banking was a key reason index rallies struggled to broaden out.

Domestic buying and election outcome expectations: these helped soften the impact of foreign outflows and added support early in the week.
