Weekly Portfolio Performance Chart

Equity Markets:

During the week, Indian equity markets were volatile and largely range‑bound, weighed down by election‑related uncertainty and strong FPI selling, even as domestic investors and mid/small caps showed resilience.

Key Market Triggers

West Asia tensions and crude oil spikes were the biggest negative triggers, with Brent jumping above $105/barrel early in the week and keeping inflation concerns elevated.

Rupee weakness also weighed on sentiment, with reports showing the currency sliding to record or near-record lows around 95 per US dollar, adding worries about imported inflation and foreign outflows.

FII selling remained a key headwind, though DII buying helped cushion the fall and supported the broader market later in the week.
