Weekly Portfolio Performance Chart
It was a somewhat turbulent week, and the Nifty Index's movement was range-bound. Global markets are under pressure due to nervousness over the US debt ceiling. The US dollar index is rising as a result of concerns about inflation, and emerging markets are under pressure. Although the Fed has halted the rate hike, its hawkish rhetoric suggested a future rate hike, which alarmed global markets. August month CPI inflation for India is at 6.83% compared to 7.44% in July. RBI has decided on the gradual withdrawal of incremental CRR requirements. India's GDP growth rate for Q1 2023 comes at 7.8%, which aligns with the market expectation. India's GDP growth rate for the final three months of FY 2023 was 6.1%, and for the entire year, it was 7.2%, exceeding the forecasted figure of 7%.
