This week India VIX come down below 13 and market is now back to pre-election territory. We have not seen big volatile move this week in the Nifty Index. The CPI inflation rate in India decreased from 4.83% in April to 4.75% in May. At its policy meeting in June 2024, the RBI decided to maintain the 6.5% repo rate in place. India's GDP grew at a pace of 7.8% in Q42023, far faster than the 6.8% predicted. Over the entire year, India's GDP has grown by 8.2%. Additionally, the RBI raised its forecasted GDP growth rate for FY 24–25 from 7% to 7.2%. US inflation decreased from 3.4% in April to 3.3% in May. The Fed has kept the repo rate unchanged and signaled for 1 rate cut for this year, which is less than initial forecast of 2-3 rate cuts. Also, Fed is okay with average inflation of 2.7% compare to their 2% long term target.

For the Financial year 2023 - 2024 (1st April 2023 - 31st March 2024), Model 1, 3, and Nifty Long-Short returned +86.48%, +82.78%, and +36.20%, respectively, compared to the Nifty 50 Index's return of +28.61%.

Models 1, and 3 returned +29.24 percent, and +29.16 percent respectively, compared to Nifty's +7.98 percent return for 2024.

From July 12th, 2021, the Model 3 is up +123%, compared to 101% for the Nifty Midcap Index.

Since its debut, Model 1 has increased by 311 percent. The Nifty index has risen by 117 percent over the same time span.
Since its debut, the Nifty long-short strategy has returned 251 percent on capital and 465 percent on margin money.
Model 1 has been operational since July 13, 2020, whereas the Index Long-Short strategy has been operational since August 14, 2020. Model 3 has been operating since July 12, 2021.
