It was a somewhat turbulent week, and the Nifty Index's movement was extreme at both the ends. September month CPI inflation for India is at 5.02% compared to 6.83% in August. RBI has maintained the status quo and kept the repo rate at 6.5%. Also, Incremental CRR measure has been withdraw. Global markets are under pressure due to raising the US bond yield. Also, the US dollar index is rising due to concerns about inflation, and emerging markets are under pressure. Although the Fed has halted the rate hike, its hawkish rhetoric suggested a future rate hike, which alarmed global markets. India's GDP growth rate for Q1 2023 comes at 7.8%, which aligns with the market expectation. India's GDP growth rate for the final three months of FY 2023 was 6.1%, and for the entire year, it was 7.2%, exceeding the forecasted figure of 7%.
Nifty closed above the 20 EMA, 50 DMA, and 200 DMA suggesting the trend reversal or pause in the downtrend in the Index.

Since its debut, the Nifty long-short strategy has returned 122 percent on capital and 226 percent on margin money.
Model 1 has been operational since July 13, 2020, whereas the Index Long-Short strategy has been operational since August 14, 2020. Model 3 has been operating since July 12, 2021.
