This week the Nifty Index remained uptrend after a sluggish start and closed up by +2.12%. The Nifty Index didn't witness higher volatility amid the holiday season.
The Nifty Index hit 16833.20 on the lower side and hit 17400.55 on the upper side and ended at 17354.05.
Model 1, Model 2 & Model 3
Model 1,2 & 3 are up +8.18%, 6.29% and 1.99% respectively.
Model 1 & 2 have outperformed the Index by 6.06% & 4.17% respectively. Model 3 has underperformed the Index by -0.13%.
Nifty Long-Short
The Nifty Index Long-Short strategy has ended up in green at +7.85%.
Next Week Update
There is no change for Model 1 and 2 changes for Model 2 & 3 for the next week.
The current position for the Nifty Long-Short Strategy is Long.
Long term Performance Summary
November 2021 Summary
Model 1, 2 & 3 have clocked +5.85%, -0.23% and +4.54% return respectively in Dec 2021 compared to +2.24% return in the Nifty 50 Index.
Nifty Long-Short has gained momentum and ended up +9.66% in Dec 2021.
Year To Date - 2021
Both Model 1 & 2 have outperformed the Nifty in YTD 2021. Model 1 & 2 each gave a return of 85.82% & 33.08% respectively vs. Nifty's return of 24.19% for the Year 2021.
Nifty Long-Short year-to-date (From 1st Jan 2021) return is now below the index with +5.95% as compared to the 24.19% of the Index.
Model 3 is up 21% compared to 10% of the Nifty Midcap Index from 12th July 2021.
Summary since inception
Model 1 and 2 are up 175% and 82% respectively from inception. For the same period, the Nifty Index is up 61%.
The Nifty long-Short strategy is up 76% since inception and 141% on the margin money since inception.
Model 1 and Model 2 both are live from 13th July 2020 while the Index Long-Short strategy has been live from 14th August 2020. Model 3 is live from 12th July 2021.
