This week the Nifty Index has witnessed one of the worst whipsaws. The Index moved wildly in both directions. Also, gap up and gap down was significant. This week NSE exchange faced an outage and resumes the trading after almost 4 hours and Index moved wildly in limited trading time.
Model 1 & 2 have sustained this whipsaw very well and beat the Index by quite a high margin. Model 1 has beaten the Index by 7.58% and Model 2 has beaten the Index by 5.40%.
Nifty Long-Short has witnessed one of the worst drawdowns this week. We were up around 9% on the first day then we lost all the gain and down by 2.9%.
This week Nifty is down around 3.03%.
Model 1 and Model 2 both have outperformed the Nifty 50 index this week.
The Nifty long-Short strategy is up around 127.85% and 236% on the margin money.
Model 1 and Model 2 both are live from 13th July 2020 while the Index Long-Short strategy is live from 14th August 2020.
There is 1 change in Model 1 and no change in Model 2 for Next week.
The current position for Nifty Long-Short Strategy is Short.
